CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police say six people suffered gunshot wounds when a suspected gunman fired into a crowd outside a church on the city's West Side.
Chicago police officer Kevin Kilmer said the Saturday morning shootings left five people, two women and three men, in good condition and one man in serious condition at area hospitals. Kilmer says the suspected gunman approached an "intended target" in a group of mourners and shot multiple times.
Kilmer says the suspect then opened fire at the crowd as he left the scene.
Police have no one in custody. They say the shootings are believed to be gang related.
