Associated Press - November 13, 2009 8:14 AM ET

BARTONVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A deer has crashed through a plate glass window at a central Illinois meat store that processes deer meat.

Dave Alwan owns Echo Valley Meats in Bartonville outside Peoria. Alwan says surveillance video shows the deer crashed into the window Thursday and then took off.

Bartonville Police Chief Brian Fengel says no one was hurt. Fengel says the window was worth $500. Officials say the deer hasn't been found.
