DECATUR, IL- The search for a wanted fugitive in Decatur ends with two brothers being taken to the Macon County Jail.
According to sworn statements, U.S. Marshals went to a home in the 1300 block of South Maffit Street Tuesday afternoon to search for Kyle Snyder. Snyder, 23, had three warrants for his arrest.
Police say that when they arrived, Kyle's brother Kelton, 18, answered the door and told them no one else was home at the time. Officers say they could see in the home and saw Kyle inside.
The marshals made their way inside the home and allegedly found the prescription drug Focalin on Kyle and an ashtray that contained field tested cocaine. The two brothers were arrested and taken to the Macon County Jail.
Both Kyle and Kelton Snyder were charged with possession of a controlled substance. Kelton was also charged with resisting arrest.
Kyle Snyder had warrants out for his arrest in Macon and Douglas County. He also has pending felony charges for burglary, forgery and aggravated battery.
Both brothers are being held on $10,000 bond.
