Lincoln's former city clerk pleads guilty to embezzlement charges.
48-year-old Melanie Riggs admitted to taking more than $46,000 from the city between 2007 and January 2009. Riggs faces a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison, a fine up to $250,000, and could be ordered to pay restitution.
She'll be sentenced February 1, 2010.
