Jurors started deliberating in a murder trial full of twists and turns on Wednesday.
Crystal Myrick is accused of killing Jerry and Sue Haigh in their Champaign home back in 2006. Closing arguments in the case started Wednesday morning. Tuesday, Myrick told the jury that she has been lying to investigators all along, giving police four different stories about how her ex-boyfriend Kenneth Sean Kelly and her uncle Russell Lee Pitcher killed the couple.
Now, she says all of those stories were lies that she made up because she was angry with the two men, and that she had no involvement. However, a Champaign detective told jurors that Myrick was able to point out the home and give other details about the case.
