Federal prosecutors have charged a Decatur pediatrician with health care fraud.

Dr. Jamie Warnick is accused of defrauding a federal health care program and private insurance companies. Warnick is accused of giving free vaccines meant for uninsured or underinsured children to children who do not qualify for the program, then billing insurance companies for them. Warnick is due in federal court in Springfield December 17th.
