Governor Pat Quinn continues to warn that there'll be dire consequences if lawmakers don't raise state income taxes to fill budget holes.
Quinn visited the Chicago Food Depository this morning to highlight the cuts to human services that may be made if lawmakers don't send him a new balanced budget by July 1st. Quinn has made repeated appeals to lawmakers to raise income taxes. He's slated to meet with legislators leaders Tuesday in Chicago.
Lawmakers have passed a budget that keeps government running, but some say it could force $7 billion in cuts.
