Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week


SANGAMON COUNTY - Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Residential Burglary and Unlawful Use of Credit Card.

Reports indicate that on Sunday April 3rd there was a Residential Burglary reported that occurred in the 1000 block of N. 15th. During this burglary a purse was stolen that contained several items including a bank debt card.

Once the victim realized that her debt card was missing suspects had already used her card at an Exxon Mobile and made several unsuccessful attempts to use the card at other retail merchants. There were to black male suspects seen trying to use the debt card.

One was wearing white hooded sweat shirt dark pants, and the other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and dark pants.
