MAHOMET, IL - A man remains in the Champaign County Jail, accused of shooting and killing his cousin.

Gerard James is accused of shooting and killing Harlan James while working on a combine in a field on the family farm, located in Mahomet.

Investigators say the two got into an argument before the shooting happened. Gerard James is expected to be arraigned on murder charges Tuesday. He is being held on $1,000,000 bond.
