CHAMPAIGN - Champaign Police are looking into leads on a hit and run that seriously injured two University of Illinois students early Sunday morning.

U of I Juniors Kaelyn Buckner and Tara Nair were hit and run-over by a white, four-door car at Fourth Street and Springfield Ave in Champaign.

The driver fled the scene and police say they need a suspect.

The girls are severely injured and the families say they want answers.
