CHAMPAIGN, IL- Champaign Police have arrested two teens in connection with the beating and robbery of a man last year.
Dorian Wills, 17, and Ralph Gray, 17, have each been charged with attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
Champaign Police say that on the morning of October 21, officers went to Carle Hospital to talk with a man who was injured during a robbery the night before. The 33 year-old man told police that he had been walking downtown when a group of five or six men attacked him, then threw him into a van.
The victim told police that he woke up the next morning in a barn in the 4300 block of North Mattis Avenue injured and without his wallet. Police say the victim was able to flag down a car passing by to get help.
