Suspect Arrested In Southern IL For 2009 Springfield Murder

SPRINGFIELD, IL- Federal agents have arrested a man in connection with a 2009 murder in Springfield.

James Eudy was arrested Friday morning in the southern Illinois town of Harrisburg.

Police believe Eudy stabbed 39 year-old Eric Huckaby multiple times inside his home on West Canedy Street in October 2009.

Eudy faces three counts of first degree murder. He has been brought back to Springfield and is being held in the Sangamon County Jail on $2 million bond.
