Robbery Suspect Grelin Shaw
DECATUR, IL- A man suspected of robbing a pizza restaurant in Decatur has been arrested after being picked out from a lineup.
Grelin Shaw, 39, has been charged with aggravated robbery. Police say Shaw is responsible for robbing the Decatur Little Caesars on January 23.
Shaw was picked out of a lineup by the two employees who were working at the time.
According to sworn statements, Shaw allegedly came into the shop with a weapon and demanded cash. Employees told police that when Shaw came up to the counter, he said, "Open the cash register or I'll shoot you."
Police say they picked up Shaw in connection with this crime after receiving a Crime Stoppers tip.
Shaw has a lengthy criminal record, which includes felony convictions for robbery, battery, burglary and criminal trespassing.
At the time of his arrest, Shaw was on parole. His bail has been set at $100,000.
