SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- The state of Illinois is calling all green thumbs.
State officials will hold public meetings next month for anyone who wants to participate in the Illinois Products Farmers' Market. The Illinois Department of Agriculture says potential and current vendors can get more information.
The meetings are March 1 and March 22 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
The event offers fresh produce and products made in Illinois. It will open Thursday, May 10, and run every Thursday evening through Oct. 18, except during the Illinois State Fair.
