Operation Enduring Support is once again sending Easter packages to our troops fighting for our freedom around the world. In order to do so we need the APO and FPO addresses of the soldiers so that we can individualize the packages by sending to a specific soldier. These addresses will be accepted until March 26th. They may be mailed to OES 901 N. Main St., Decatur, or phoned to 422-0133 or 429-5374 or e-mailed to graceoes@comcast.net. We are also asking for donations of Girl Scout cookies. For years the cookies have been included in our Easter packages however this year the sale has been so poor we are asking public to help us. The troops really love receiving these cookies as they are so much a part of "back home". Donations may consist of either cookies or monetary donations for OES to buy them. Other donations needed are: MONEY FOR POSTAGE EASTER CANDY PUZZLE BOOKS CURRENT MAGAZINES, SPORT, CYCLING, MOTORCYCLE, ETC BEEF JERKY BABY WIPES CHAP STIX PERSONAL ITEMS CONSISTING OF MOTEL/HOTEL SIZE LOTIONS, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER. EYE GLASS LENS CLEANERS DARK LIGHT WEIGHT SOCKS SNACKS OF ALL KINDS IN INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES OR CANS such as hard candy, peanut butter or cheese crackers. small cans of hot dogs, and canned spam, etc INDIVIDUAL DRINK MIXES INCLUDING TEA, COFFEE, CRYSTAL LIGHT, COOL AIDE All items may be brought to Grace United Methodist church 901 N. Main St. and designated or marked for OES. Monetary donations may be mailed to OES 901 N. Main St., or brought to the church which is open 8am to 5pm Monday through Thursday and 8am to 12 noon on Friday, until March 19th. If you have any questions please feel free to call 422-0133.
