Lovington - The Lovington High School, and for some, the high school's gym was a special place.

Tonight the Panthers played their last home game ever, as they will consolidate with Arthur High School.

Alumni and former basketball player, Justin Hill says,"it's sad for me as a father. You know I'd like to have seen my son put on that Panther jersey just like I did."

And for some alumni, Lovington is the only place they've called home, and to see the school come down later this year, will be a tough moment in time.

Leroy Fair says,"it just breaks my heart."
