DECATUR, IL- The Decatur Police Department is asking for help in solving a string of armed robberies they think could be connected.
One robbery occurred at Apex Petroleum on East Wood Street, another was at the Dollar Store on Route 36 and the third was at Huck's on Larkdale Court.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5'8" wearing a dark colored, heavy fur-hooded coat. The coat also had the word "Chicago" on the front and back of the coat, and he was wearing a fisherman's hat and white rimmed sunglasses.
