SPRINGFIELD, IL- Sangamon County is holding a public meeting Wednesday night on a potential wind farm in the western part of the county.
Last month the county board approved a temporary moratorium on wind turbines so that county leaders could get public input and review zoning rules before approving any new farms.
Wednesday's meeting will be held in New Berlin at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
A second meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday also at 6:30 p.m. That meeting will take place at the county board chambers on the second floor of the Sangamon County Building at Ninth and Monroe Streets in Springfield.
