College students hoping for Monetary Award Program grants, to help pay for school next year, are out of luck.
That money has gone to a fraction of the students who qualified to receive those funds.
That leaves hundreds of thousands of students, including some from Millikin, scrambling to find the money for next year.
Over 300,000 thousand college students have applied for MAP grants this year already.
For Millikin student Chris Pelikan, he might have to attend a whole different school.
"The considerable chunk of money that it is, that could be enough I could possibly not attend here next year," says Pelikan.
