
DECATUR, IL- A community is in mourning after the loss of a Decatur teacher.
Eisenhower High School Spanish teacher Lisa Cutler was found unresponsive by a relative in her Mt. Zion home early Friday morning.
Macon County Coroner Michael Day says the 47 year-old teacher was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2 a.m.
An autopsy was conducted Friday in Bloomington. The coroner says the cause of death is still unclassified pending toxicology results.
Mt. Zion Police are now investigating this incident.
Counselors were on hand at the high school Friday for grieving students and staff. They will also be available at the school on Monday.
