Champaign Police Investigate Bank Robbery

CHAMPAIGN, IL- Champaign Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Friday afternoon.

Police say a man walked into the Hickory Point Bank at 701 Devonshire Drive just after 3 p.m., handed the teller a note and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say no employees were injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20's with a thin beard. He was wearing a white hat, white shirt and baggy jeans.
