Decatur, IL - We now know the name of a man who was killed in a crash in Decatur Friday and what led to that crash. The Macon County Coroner says 62 year old Edward "Doug" Imboden suffered a heart attack. According to witnesses at the scene Imboden was driving northbound on Franklin when he lost control just north of the bridges at Lake Decatur. His vehicle flipped over and struck this concrete barrier.
Macon County Coroner Michael Day says the injuries Imboden suffered in that crash were non-life threatening. Officials are still waiting on the toxicology report to wrap up the investigation.
