Village Board To Discuss Spending Hotel Tax Money

FORSYTH, IL- The Forsyth Village Board will meet Monday night.

One of the hot topics on tonight's agenda will be how to spend nearly $350,000 in extra tax money.

The village's hotel tax generated the extra cash and board members could vote Monday night to enact a policy on how to spend the revenue from that tax.

Currently that money can only be used on promoting tourism.
