Macon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at the Bergner's store Wednesday morning in Forsyth.

Employees were still cleaning up the broken glass left behind after burglars smashed cases and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry.

Sheriff's deputies believe the break-in happened around 3:00 a.m.

The investigation is on-going and there are no suspects at this time.
