Bond Stays At $250,000 For Man Jailed On Sex Assault Charges

DECATUR, IL- A Macon County judge has refused to lower the bond for a former church volunteer jailed for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenage girl

Christian Coady, 44, will remain in jail on $250,000 bond.

Coady has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and child pornography charges. He is accused of having a year-long sexual relationship with a girl who was 16 at the time and with having inappropriate conduct with a 17 year-old girl.

Coady is scheduled to return to court June 11.
