Springfield, IL - We are following breaking news this evening. One person is dead after a shooting involving a Springfield Police Officer. It happened at the Comfort Inn on Freedom Drive Friday evening. The name of the victim is not known at this time. We will have more information tonight on WAND News at 10pm.
