DANVILLE - A parade was held Friday evening in Danville to honor 16 year old Christian Cunningham.

Several people gathered in downtown Danville's Temple Plaza to celebrate Christian's big win.

During the parade, he rode on top of a fire truck down North Vermilion Street.

After the parade, he performed on stage in Temple Plaza for his community.

The Danville High School sophomore won the Today Show's version of "The Voice" Wednesday morning in New York.

He competed against a 14 year old girl from Long Island for the title and won 70 percent of the vote.
