Decatur - People looking to help stop child abuse in Macon County took to the streets of Decatur Saturday.
The Champions 4 Children Walk is a fundraising event for the Macon County Child Advocacy Group. They help children and their families after being a victim of abuse.
One of Saturday's walkers was the grandfather of a child who was shaken to death by the baby's father.
"You have caring, loving people who provide a place for these children to come when DCFS or police take them out of their homes," says Bill Rhoades.
WAND's very own Dawn Sterling served as the walk's Grand Marshal.
