Champaign, IL - The Champaign County Coroner says a man who was shot in the leg Sunday at an apartment complex has died. The coroner says 20 year old Torrie Mmedley died at Carle Foundation hospital shortly after being shot at the Country Brook Apartments. Police say they responded to a shots fired call around 2:30 p.m. Sunday and when they arrived Smedley was shot in the leg. The coroner says an autopsy will be performed Monday and an inquest will be held at a later date.
