School District Sued By Former Student

ST. JOSEPH, IL- The St. Joseph-Ogden School District is being sued by a former student who says she was sexually abused by a former high school teacher and coach.

The former teacher, 33 year-old Jon Jamison, has been accused of having sex with two different students in 2003 and 2006. He was charged in February with criminal sexual assault.

A different 19 year-old woman has now come forward and is filing suit against the district, accusing Jamison of battery and a hate crime and the district of negligence in hiring and emotional distress.
