CHAMPAIGN - Hungry customers will start seeing more food trucks in Champaign.
A new city project is keeping food trucks around for the summer.
It's called the Mobile Food Truck Pilot Project.
The Champaign Assistant Planning Director says current regulations only allow food trucks to park for 5 minutes.
Now businesses can park at 7 locations for 2 hours at a time.
Owner of the popular "The Crave Truck" says he's thankful for this opportunity.
The Mobile Food Truck Pilot Project goes from June 1st to August 31st.
The city council meets June 26th to see how it's going.
