DECATUR IL - A Champaign mother is accused of forcing her daughter to help her steal clothing.

Police arrested 42-year-old Jalileh Kattoum on Monday at the Von Maur store in Forsyth.Officers say Kattoum and her eleven year-old daughter took clothing valued at about  five hundred dollars.

When police questioned them the young girl said her mother insisted she help with the theft. Because of her Muslim upbringing it prevented her from disagreeing with her mother.
