Urbana, Ill. - Two men are in jail and one suspect is still at large following a raid in Urbana. Police raided Home Run Food Mart this week, confiscating items like glass pipes and lighters sold in brown bags.
Ramzi Alsaqri, 49, and Mohammed Mahmoud, 27, are being held on a felony charge of selling drug paraphernalia.
Police say the arrests are the result of the community working together.
"In the last year, the police have done a proactive approach working with community groups, apartment owners, and businesses," said Lieutenant Bob Fitzgerald of the Urbana Police Department.
Police say the crime rate in the area is lower because community groups are working closely together.
