Springfield Shooting Victims' names Released

Springfield, IL - Medical investigators conducted an autopsy Saturday on two men who were killed in a Springfield shooting. Police say Melody Lyons shot 50 year old Lloyd G. Lyons and 69 year old Henry Dale Gilbert Friday in a home on Winterberry Lane just off Toronto Road. Investigators say the men died from multiple gunshot wounds and Melody Lyons was arrested for 2 counts of murder.

Springfield Police and the Sangamon County Coroners Office are investigating why the men were shot. We will bring you more information as this story unfolds.
