GIBSON CITY - A piece of history in Gibson City could be lost in the past, if it doesn't raise enough money for a major technology update.
Harvest Moon Drive In must switch from using film to playing movies in digital format by the end of this season on September 30th.
The drive in's general manager says film studios are forcing all movie theaters to convert to digital so the studios can cut back on production costs.
But that means a major cost for small theaters and drive ins.
Unlike large movie theater chains, Harvest Moon will have to pay for the conversion on its own.
The general manager says people can help the twin drive in just by going to see a movie.
Every bit of business bring them closer to their goal.
