DECATUR- Brown fields are blighted properties that can be filled with dangerous chemicals and the city of Decatur wants your help to start cleaning them up.
At a public meeting Tuesday, a panel presented which potential brown fields are priorities for clean up. But they want help from the community, deciding which areas need the most help.
The city has received a grant for 400,000 for assessing the cleanup.
There's a survey online where you can rank which areas need to be addressed first. Here's the link to the survey: http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e61dqsach3gcy6af/a00th3npt63q/questions
