TUSCOLA - Central Illinois families will find some relief from a new personal tracking device.
The tool will help the Douglas County Search and Rescue team find missing people with Alzheimer, Autism or disabilities.
The Douglas County EMA got the device from a Project Life Saver grant.
The EMA Director says the average search time for someone who has wandered away is 9 hours, now it'll be cut to under 30 minutes!
To use the tracking device for a loved one, contact the Douglas County EMA.
