Decatur, Ill. -- Police are searching for a young man wanted for armed robbery after witnesses said he held up a man at gunpoint.
Police said the victim was walking with a friend in the 400 block of north pine st. early Saturday morning when they were passed by a man between 17 and 21-years-old.
According to a police report, the man asked the victim for a cigarette. When the victim responded that he didn't have one, the man pulled a dark stocking cap over his face. he then showed the victim a black semi-automatic hand gun, and said "give me everything."
Police said the victim handed over a cell phone and some cash before the robber told him to leave.
