Increase In Meth Problem

Posted:

DOUGLAS CO - The deadly drug methamphetamine is moving its way onto the road.

Police say they have seen an increase in meth labs inside cars.

The Douglas County Sheriff has caught more people driving under the influence of meth in the past few months.

That's because of the easy and quick "one pot" method where cooks make a small amount of meth inside a soda or Gatorade bottle.

Deputies are dealing with more break-in's because of the increase.

To help fight this problem, some signs of meth labs include traffic late at night or something suspicious in the community.

If someone notices these signs, call police immediately.
