
Decatur, Ill. - A local pharmacy employee's efforts will go a long way toward benefiting wounded warriors.
Dale's Southlake Pharmacy employee Ron Stephens, a Vietnam veteran who was wounded in action, walked 49 miles to Springfield's Oakridge Cemetery on Memorial Day weekend to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
He raised $6,400 dollars in donations. He also received matching money and donated a close to $13,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists wounded veterans and their families.
