Trial Underway for Ishmael Adam's Death


DECATUR IL  - The trial of a Decatur man facing murder charges is underway in the Macon County Court.  39 year old Bryain Young is accused of orchestrating the armed robbery that led to the shooting death of Ishmael Adams in July 2010.

Adams was shot to death by Michael Guise, and Johnathan Maclin in the 12-hundred block of North Woodford Street.

In court today, Maclin refused to testify and the judge found him in contempt of court. Maclin was convicted in May and faces a minimum of 41 years when he's sentenced august first. Guise awaits sentencing for a guilty plea to armed robbery.

Bryain Young's murder trial could go to the jury Friday. The trial will resume in the Friday morning.

Bryain Young is found guilty by Macon County Jury on Friday. He was convicted for his role in the murder of Ishmael Adams, and will receive first degree murder and armed robbery charges.

 He will be sentenced August 30th
