CHAMPAIGN - A follow up to a story from last month.. WAND caught up with one of the teen workers in the Champaign Summer Teen Jobs Program.
17-year-old Darius Pullard was one of the teens chosen.
Pullard is an intern at the Champaign Police Department learning the inner workings of each unit.
He also gets to film Youth Police Academy activities since he's interested in media.
150 teens with jobs through 75 different employers around the city.
The goal is to give them a real world professional experience on the job.
The teens will work for another 2 weeks then the program ends with a community engagement project for all the students.
