Public Health Service Building Moves Forward

Sullivan – Illinois Department of Commerce will help Moultrie County move forward with their building for Public Health Services. The grant for community development will be for 750,000, which will got toward their one million dollar building cost.

The grant is good for two years, and board Chairman Dave McCabe says "the clock is ticking." Previous plans for the build will need to be reworked to meet the two year deadline. The grant was unexpected and needed after the plan came to a stand still because of funds.
