DANVILLE - First Midwest Bank, 27 N. Vermilion, in Danville was held up at 3:40 PM on Wednesday afternoon. Police arrived at the scene, and were told a white heavy set male gave the teller a note demanding cash, and left with an undisclosed amount of money. Director of Public Safety Larry Thomason said no weapon was displayed during the robbery.
A 43 year old Centralia man, was found after K9 units were used to track him down. He was found in the 100 block of Van Buren, he was taken into custody and no gun was found.
The suspect is being held for Aggravated Robbery, no one was hurt.
