URBANA - The Champaign County Fair kicks off Friday in Urbana.

The stands were packed with people excited to see country music stars Lee Brice and Kip Moore perform.

Champaign County Fair Manager Cheryl Smith says they decided to move the country concert from the last day of the fair to the first day to try and attract more people all week long.

Smith says that's part of the new feel this year for the 160th anniversary.

The carnival starts at 5:00 Friday.
