HOMER - A charity car and motorcycle run kicked off Saturday morning at the Homer Community Building.
Cruisin' 4 Kids with Cancer benefits Camp COCO, a weeklong summer program for kids and teens with cancer and blood disorders.
The camp provides events like ziplining, swimming and horseback riding- along with medical care.
Cruisin 4 Kids founder Jane Clark started the charity event eight years ago, to help kids like her 13-year-old son, Hunter. Now a survivor, Hunter was diagnosed with stage III Neuroblastoma at age two.
