Pana Kids Helping Families Around World Get Clean Water

Pana, Ill. - Kids in Pana are helping families around the world receive clean drinking water.

Last week members of the United in Faith Church youth group went to New Life International in Underwood, Indiana.

They helped build water purification systems.  The systems help provide villages in developing countries with safe water.

One volunteer explained just how important the systems can be.

"It's completely life changing," said Bradley Robinson, a volunteer with New Life International.  "It's about getting these people out of the depths of poverty so they can start providing for themselves and working their way up because they're not as sick as much.  They can work more and it can only be a good thing."
