Champaign is Looking for Shooting Suspect


CHAMPAIGN IL - Champaign Police need help finding a suspect involved in a shooting on Sunday afternoon. At 4:39 PM, Champaign police officers were dispatched to the area of James Street and Bradley Avenue in reference to a shooting that had just occurred.

Police described the shooter as a light skinned black male, short hair with a closely trimmed beard. He is about six feet tall with a medium to heavy build. The suspect appears to be in his mid twenties and was seen wearing red shorts and a white T-shirt.
