Buckhart Fire Update

ROCHESTER IL - Friday's fire in Rochester ruined hundreds of acres at Buckhart Road and Parks Lane. Now the Rochester Fire Protection District will call in the Illinois State Fire Marshal to help investigate.

The fire destroyed a barn, and almost a house on the east of town. Strong dry winds contributed to spreading the flames, but no crops were a significant loss. The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
