Logan County Issues Watering Restrictions - Wandtv.com, NewsCenter17, StormCenter17, Central Illinois News-

LATHAM - The village of Latham is the latest area to issue watering restrictions.  The following rules are now in effect:

* No watering of yards

* No car washings

* No additional water for new swimming pools allowed

* Watering of gardens will be allowed only in the early morning hours or late evening hours on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Watering is restricted to one hour or less.

Violations to any of the above will result in fines and possible legal action.
